A trust weaving therapeutic yoga, meditation and mindful wellness together with heartfelt animal rescue and nature conservation — open to all, everywhere, online and in person.
Our three pillars
From gentle Hatha to deep therapeutic yoga, we offer practices that heal the body, quiet the mind, and restore balance — for every body, every stage of life.

— The Sattva Paws ethos
Who we are
Sattva Paws is a registered trust born from the conviction that healing is holistic — it encompasses the self, all living creatures, and the earth we share.
Through yoga, animal welfare, and conservation, we create spaces of genuine transformation — on the mat, in the shelter, and in the wild.
Our mission
We believe the path to inner peace runs through compassion for every living being.
Sattva Paws was founded with deep respect for yoga as a complete philosophy of living. We bring that philosophy into every dimension of our work: how we care for our bodies, how we treat animals, and how we relate to the natural world.
Our programmes are grounded in both traditional wisdom and evidence-based approaches, designed for real people navigating real lives — and for the animals who often heal alongside them.
Therapeutic yoga and wellness programmes to restore physical and emotional wellbeing.
Animal rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming — giving every creature the dignity they deserve.
Conservation, habitat restoration, and nature education for communities reconnecting with the earth.
Building a community of practitioners, volunteers, and advocates united by compassion.
Our founder
Aneesh has always lived between two worlds — the inner and the outer, the human and the animal, the ancient and the immediate. From childhood, animals gravitated toward him with an ease that needed no explanation. He rescued instinctively, loved unconditionally, and understood without being taught that every living creature carries within it a dignity worth protecting. As he grew, that same sensitivity turned inward. He found in yoga not merely a practice but a revelation — a way of reconnecting with his body, stilling his mind, and touching something sacred in the ordinary rhythm of breath. Meditation deepened that journey, and therapeutic yoga gave it purpose: the profound realisation that healing is not just personal. It flows outward, to every being we encounter, to the earth we walk upon, to the animals who share our world. His inspiration is nature itself — its patience, its wholeness, its quiet insistence on balance. His mission is to bring yoga, healing, animals and nature into one living, breathing space — where the stillness of meditation, the restoration of therapeutic practice, the unconditional presence of animals, and the grounding power of the natural world are not separate offerings but a single, unified path. His goal is both simple and revolutionary — to remind us that when we heal ourselves, we heal everything around us.

Join a ClassWhat we teach
The foundation of all yoga. Physical postures and breath control to build strength, flexibility, and stillness of mind.
Breath-synchronised movement linking postures in continuous sequences. Builds heat, stamina, and full-body awareness.
Prop-supported postures held for extended periods to trigger deep healing and stress recovery.
Ancient breath-regulation techniques that calm the nervous system and awaken vital energy within.
Guided deep relaxation at the threshold of sleep. One session can equal several hours of restorative rest.
Our signature class — yoga in the presence of rescued animals. Reduces cortisol and deepens present-moment connection.
Specialised programme
For individuals seeking deep healing and restoration. Our therapeutic yoga programme offers specialised Disease Support Therapy for over 41 conditions — from chronic pain and metabolic disorders to neurological and autoimmune conditions. Sessions are one-on-one or small group, deeply personalised, and available both online and in person — so no matter where you are in the world, healing is within reach.
Book a SessionWhere yoga meets rescue
Our animal-assisted yoga classes bring rescued animals into the practice space as a genuine therapeutic element. The presence of animals lowers heart rate, reduces anxiety, and opens the heart in ways that deepen the yoga experience profoundly.
The animals benefit too — through socialisation, gentle handling, and the healing energy of a calm, intentional space.
Join a ClassRescue · Rehabilitate · Rehome
At Sattva Paws, every animal that comes to us carries a story of resilience. We rescue strays and abandoned animals, provide medical care and rehabilitation, and find them the loving homes they deserve. No creature is too small, no case too difficult.
How we help
We respond to calls for injured, abandoned, and distressed animals — picking them up, providing first aid, and getting them to safety as quickly as possible.
Going away? Your pet stays in a safe, loving, home-like environment. We provide attentive, personalised care so your animal feels comfortable and secure while you're away.
We carefully match rehabilitated animals with loving, responsible families — and stay involved to ensure each adoption is a lasting success.
Whether you're welcoming your first pet or navigating challenges with a long-time companion, our counselling sessions help pet parents build deeper, healthier relationships with their animals.
Workshops and awareness drives to foster empathy and teach communities how to coexist compassionately with animals.
Our growing network of volunteers is the backbone of our rescue work — from feeding drives to foster homes, every hand makes a difference.
Their stories
Every animal we rescue has a name, a story, and a future worth fighting for. Here are some of the souls who found their way to Sattva Paws.
Cookie was found as a frightened stray — malnourished, wary of human touch, and unsure of the world. With patient care and gentle handling at Sattva Paws, she slowly learned to trust again. Today she lives in a loving forever home, proof that every soul deserves a second chance.
Tiny Football was barely a few weeks old when he was rescued, unable to fend for himself on the streets. He was nursed back to health with round-the-clock feeding and warmth. This little furball now rules his forever family's heart — and most of the furniture too.
Foxy came to us injured and alone, her elegant spirit dimmed by pain and neglect. After medical treatment and weeks of quiet rehabilitation, her confidence and grace returned in full. She found her forever home and has never looked back.
Matroo was rescued from an unsafe environment as a young pup — curious and full of life despite his rough start. He was fostered, vaccinated, and socialised with love at Sattva Paws. He now sits proudly at the centre of his forever family, quite literally on the furniture.
Mia was found abandoned on a roadside, underweight and unsure of the world around her. The car ride to safety was her very first step toward a new life. She has since blossomed into a gentle, affectionate companion deeply loved by her family.
Don was found lying alone in a construction yard as a young pup, surrounded by rubble and exposed to the elements. He was brought in, given veterinary care, and slowly warmed up to human kindness with remarkable speed. He has since been rehomed with a family who recognised immediately that he was something special.
Goblin was spotted on a feeding drive — painfully thin, eyes red with infection, but approaching the bowl with quiet dignity. He accepted food from a gloved hand on the very first day, a sign of the trust he was willing to offer despite everything. He has since fully recovered and found a loving home where his gentle spirit is cherished every day.
These two tiny souls were spotted foraging alone on a gravel path, far too young to survive without help. They were immediately taken in, given emergency nutrition and veterinary care. Both pups are now thriving — eating well, playing hard, and waiting for their forever homes.
Snowy arrived at Sattva Paws with soulful, searching eyes that told a story of hardship. Her striking brindle coat and gentle temperament quickly won the hearts of everyone who met her. She is currently in loving foster care and ready to find the permanent home she so deserves.
